The PHW Group has already calculated its carbon footprint for poultry meat six times. The most recent value available is from 2017: 2.2 kg CO2 per 1 kg chicken meat (net carcass weight)
The PHW Group has five charging stations for electric vehicles, each with one charging point
Since 2019, the PHW Group has been reducing its use of plastics by 573 tonnes annually
- Target-oriented application or use of alternative protein sources as soya replacements (e.g. rapeseed, sunflowers, peas, broad beans and, as soon as legally permissible, insect protein).
By reducing the thickness of copy paper, the CO2 footprint was reduced by 14,518 kg year on year in 2019. This represents a saving of almost ten percent.
Teamwork: By the end of 2019, the PHW Group had planted around 18,000 square meters of wild flower meadows at all its locations.
